Mercury at about 15 degrees . seeing average boiling. 8mm radian ep- 172x. would have followed it higher but the alignment was poor and i lost it.

Here i have labeled the BA storm or ' Little Red.'

6/13/20 below
Seeing below average

Seeing on clear sky charts was 5/5 for these below

poor seeing 5/07/20
Early April average seeing predicted but seemed above average ie Venis above exact. Date unknown Baton Rouge, LA

Mars my first sketch/ second observation in 17 years ie below

Color, color,monocrome , and monocrome venus from 02 25 20 and 02 26 20

Venus 02 22 20
11 sketches with all 6 baader planetary filters 530 t0 630 CST. 271 to 362x. Disc outline fairly stable for 30 minutes ie at 530 CST/362 x which was nice because clear skies charts rated only average seeing for that time. Red long pass, dark blue band pass were assigned more black and yellow/orange more grey. Some white was used for very light areas ie those that showed little or now transmission

Here the data was more carefully reworked in brown monocrome. It would be hard to more accurately approximate the real color without a computer program

Venus Burleigh Park
Jeanerette, LA, 6 to 8 CST

Color and monocrome Venus. I used a color wheel to blend the color of the features. I came up with red browns, browns, greens, blues, and white. Next time I will also use a orange long pass and green band pass filter ie to blend colors seen.

02 08 20 1201 to 0230 UTC Venus in below average seeing. See sketch for details

Uranus
Bell River Landing Hwy 70, Pierre Part,
02 02 20/UTC time
Seeing average but improved for second sketch ie 0400 UTC

Anahauc National Wildlife Refuge, TX
Friday nite 01 25 20 9pm CST to MN. Later I went though about 30 star clusters but didn't sketch any.
The band 1 with tourquise disc (persistent) background showed 1st, then band 2 ( few seconds - twice) with 1, and then later the areas marked 3 showed by themselves. I saw at least 8 small meteors and probable 5 moons. The meteors were randomly placed. The moons were roughly placed. some were excluded.

Uranus appeared 1/8" to 3/16" at these powers with 2X barlow  ie in EP. Drawing done on US 50 cent piece size template so I could include the detail. All bands had variegated borders. # 1 showed first with tourquise background. Then for a few seconds (twice) i saw #2, and then areas listed as #3 showed up at the end ( by themselves). About 5 moons and 8 meteors ( fine were seen and this was way cool to see.

2017 T2 Panstaars and 78 P/ Gehrels 2

Q4 Borisov/ QI Borisov- First Observed Interstellar Comet!

Details in sketch
Note the yellow color in the 10"/9000 mile coma was seen momentarily. The details came and went over 2 hours ie 2 to 4 CST- Atchafalaya Basin- Manual Road , Big Alabama Bayou, La- wildlife observation Bridge.

The second image shows some of the red seen in the distal pjets and in the 40" left ie NE jet ( refractor with star diagonal N/S as seen east west ie R/L reversed

The jets formed in a R to L fashion ie OTA configuration clockwise. This means the nucleus is turning clockwise as it faces earth. Ie the R 40 second " jet and its associated jets formed last ie 0400 CST ie along with the extended tail formation and or visibility.

11 25 19 C 2017 T2 Panstaars, 2018 N2 Asassin, 260 P McNaught, 29 P Schwassman -Wachman, and the brightest tonight 68 P Klemola. Around 9 or 10 P CST , the clouds rolled in.

up
Ft Jackson 10 20 19 Uranus 271X f14 Probably saw a little detail. Saw some moons as well but didn't sketch them. Several meteors were seen as well. The planet was more grey than portrayed here. Otherwise all detail was seen albeit momentarily. 3X size.

Upon further reflection, I think I reversed the concavity of the blue band. This sketch (top), still shows incorrect concavity but some grey as I purchased color pencils with a wider array of colors.

2/3 star systems ( unidentified in Cassiopeia, Lyra, and Cephius)- 10 18 19 to 10 19 19 Forest Hill area Kisatchie National Forest. Seeing 3/5. 155 mm 8 mm TV Radian/f7

 10 2 19
Rhea, Tethys, Titan, Mimas, and Dione were seen. Iapetus, Enceladas, and Hyperion were likely seen ie stars can not be excluded but objects were seen in the appropriate positions ie Saturn Google play saturn moon app.
